There is a touching moment when I finish writing about my time on the prawn boats and I walk out of my room. In front of me are four large glass windows looking out to sea. I can see lights shining on the water from floodlit ships, just as the prawn boats were floodlit and i know how much i love the ocean and how apposite that I record this here..
In four days i have transcribed two A5 journals. I have one more A5 and two A4 to do. It is too much to expect that i might complete an A4 before i leave but will endeavour to do so. I start the last A5 tomorrow, it is thick with clippings and plants, im hoping to make good time but have been invited to help making hay so will try to balance my time.
